The only reason why I gave it a 4 is because I had to wait longer than expected for the Chicken wings to arrive, then waited some more for the juice to arrive…
It’s that time of the year again, its Christmas the time of gifts and merry. It’s also time for the 2nd Annual Food and Fun Fair Day to be held on the 5th of Dec 2015 at River Plate Park, Opp Abia House, off Ahmadu Bello Way, Wuse 2, Abuja from 12-6pm.
This spectacular event is brought to you by Jackplays Events – a company that specializes in planning events for corporate bodies and professionals – This time around they are collaborating with TasteNsnap.com a food blog based in Abuja to bring to you a memorable event.
These guys take thin crust to the next level of thin, I mean paper thin, if you are into thin crust Pizzas, then you would like it. They have an extensive range of pizza varieties, if you can think it I bet they have it, and there is a Special Pizza that gives you the freedom to choose 5 toppings of your choice at N5,000.00. I kinda overwhelmed by the long list of pizza types so I decided to stick to the regular Chicken Pizza (N3,300.00).
It was the day of the inauguration of President Mohammadu Buhari and my friends and I decided to do a mini barbecue to enjoy the long weekend. We 9 to 5’ers live for long weekends like this…the feeling of feeling free, to do what you please, when you please and how you please…like Bruno Mars, we’ll be singing “…today I don’t feel like doing any work , I just want to barbecuuuuee!”
I don’t want to start this blog post on a sad note, so let me divulge the good part of the gist first. I invited a friend for dinner after seeing the “Now Open” Instagram post of 355 Steak House and Lounge, located at 65 Osun Crescent, off IBB Way, Maitama, Abuja. I went with high expectations, since I had read pretty decent reviews from the comments on their Instagram pictures.
The funny part is that I pass this food truck everyday! Special thanks goes to @missdeeadaora for treating me to this hidden treasure… Johnny Rockets, I’m sorry, you might need to take several seats, because these Street Cafe burgers are not only delicious but way cheaper!…
Having had a long weekend so far, a friend invited me for after work dinner at City View Restaurant and Grill, located at 7 Capetown Street, beside Imperial Bakery, Wuse Zone 4, Abuja. This wasn’t my first time there so I knew exactly what I wanted, so I thought until from the corner of my eyes I saw this waiter passing by my table with a tray of Lamb Chops and Fried Rice that looked so sumptuous, I started wishing I had ordered that instead….(salivating)
Just browsing through Instagram and I came across this beauty, is’nt she lovely? lol. So during my lunch break, I left the office on a quest to find Micos House of Chicken and Waffles, located at QueenFem Green Plaza, Shop B26, Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja. On getting there, I noticed the cool decor, then the waiter approached us cheerfully,
It been about three months since my friend and I went to check out the then newly launched self-grill restaurant in town, Grills In and Out, located at 1 Kindia Close, Off Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja, has two sections, the self grill section which has tables fitted with grills that enables customers to have a personalized mini barbecue. They also have the regular section were customers are served in the usual restaurant fashion. However, we are more interested in the self grill section, which as far as I’m concerned is its first of its kind in Abuja.
