Fine Dining at Chopsticks-Singapore Noodles

image

The weekend is here again and this time its different because I do not have to go to work, which was becoming regular. Anyway after having enough rest, my friend and I decided to check out Chopsticks Restaurant. I have had their appetizers as takeaway but haven’t eaten in before. So I was looking forward to it. I decided to go for their Singapore noodles, because I feel that’s the safest meal to order in a Nigerian Chinese restaurant to avoid being disappointed. Plus I am used to eating the Singapore noodles at .Woks and Koi Express and I wanted to compare.

My verdict: Delicious meal, the portions were a lot so I shared with my friend (@fresh2cute) and was too full at the end that I could barely walk. Enough fresh jumbo prawns and veges. Compared to that of Woks and Koi, I would say on the taste level, they are both pretty the same, portions: Chopsticks have more portions because at Woks and Koi a portion is enough for me, no need to share. Also Chopsticks has more veges too. On the price: At Chopsticks the noodles cost N3,200 and the Sauce cost N4,000. At Woks and Koi the noodles cost N1,700 and sauce cost N1,250. So the same meal for two persons will cost N7,200 at Chopsticks and N5,900 at Woks and Koi Express. However, the ambiance at Chopsticks is better, obviously because the Woks and Koi Express restaurant at Wuse 2, Abuja is smaller and made that way since its express. I would need to visit the main Restaurant at Silverbird to compare the ambiance to that of Chopsticks.

  1. N7,200 for a plate of noodles…. Hmmm, that’s quite expensive. Anyway, the ambiance does indeed look serene enough to take your special someone to for a treat. Not an everyday thing though unless you want holes in your pocket. This looks like a good setup for Valentine’s day since INEC has denied us the opportunity to evade responsibility.

BTW, unique idea for a blog. This offers something refreshing and different from the normal gossip blogs that hounds your sensibilities. I wish you success and unprecedented fame.

    1. I think I would try Woks and Koi at Silverbird this weekend, any suggestions on what I should order? This singapore noodles gig is getting stale lol, pls lemme know

  2. N7200 for two ppl aint bad, i.e N3,600 per person….its God that made them to shift election for valentine day to flourish, enough food and you knw what 😉 lol
